The Edit: TINGE Beauty makes body makeup, not face makeup. The brand’s site says it was founded by Kourtney, a former competitive dancer who wanted buildable, water and transfer resistant makeup for the body. Amanda received four products through ShopMy: the TINGE Tint in the shade Tan Neutral, Body Beam in the shade Starlight, the Big Brush and the Detail Brush. TINGE describes the Tint, sometimes searched as TINGE Beauty body foundation, as medium, buildable coverage body makeup that is water and transfer resistant with 48 hour wear. It comes in 12 shades and is made for the body only, not the face. Body Beam is TINGE’s water and transfer resistant body highlighter in two sheer shades. The brand says Starlight is for fair to tan skin tones and Daylight is for medium to deep. The Big Brush is a super sized kabuki body brush for arms, legs and chest. The Detail Brush is a smaller kabuki brush for precision work around tattoos, veins, knees and ankles. TINGE says all of its products are vegan, fragrance free, oil free, dermatologist tested, formulated to meet EU cosmetic standards, and made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. TINGE sells through its own site and on Amazon, ships only within the United States, and offers a 30 day shade match guarantee with free returns and exchanges. Buy direct at tingebeauty.com.

| What I love so far | The Body Beam glow, and both brushes |
| My concern | The Tint transferred a little on my first try. I’m testing it again to see if that was my application or the product |
| Where to buy | TINGE Beauty’s site or Amazon |
TINGE Beauty gifted these through ShopMy. All thoughts and first impressions are my own.
I wanted to see what body makeup actually does. Something that evens out my legs, holds up on a hot day, and looks pretty at the beach. TINGE sent the Tint, the Body Beam and both brushes, so I got to try the full setup at once.
The Tint is makeup for your legs. I’ve tried it once so far, and it does even everything out. If that’s what you’re after, that’s exactly what it does. In a hot climate it lasts and stays on.
The one thing I’m not sure about yet is transfer. It did transfer a little the first time. That might have been me, since my skin could have been too damp when I put it on. I’ll try it a few more times before I call that a for sure thing. Until then, if you’re sitting on black seats or wearing a dress over it, I’d be a little careful.
Starlight is beautiful. It’s a shimmery sparkle that goes on and gives you that glow. This one didn’t transfer at all. I had no problems with it.
One FYI: it stays on your body even after a shower. Mine lasted a couple of days. And even if it did rub off somewhere, it’s shimmer, so it’s not a big deal. This is the one I’d wear to the beach.
I like both brushes. They’re pretty awesome. The Big Brush is the one for larger areas like legs and arms.
The Detail Brush is the smaller one, and it’s just as good. It’s the one for smaller spots and anywhere you want to cover up a blemish.
Transfer on the Tint. One try isn’t enough to call it. I’ll wear it a few more times, including on black seats and under a dress, and report back here.
I’m also going to test both products on Alex’s tattoos. My guess is the Tint isn’t thick enough to cover them, but I want to see.
These are first impressions only. I’ll update this post with a full TINGE Beauty review once I’ve worn everything long enough to have a real verdict.
