Introducing Addison, our digital art maestro! 🎨 She's not just about creating stunning art. She's also a Pacific sailor who's penning a book about her epic journey! (coming in 2024).

Why the name Salty Vagabonds?

We're all about that beach life, and our handle, "Salty Vagabonds," just clicked! We built our sailboat as a fam and cruised down the US west coast, living the salty dream. With all our travels and adventures, salt's practically part of our style—hair, toes, you name it! It's who we are—free spirits with a touch of that seaside magic! 🌊⛵✨

We utilize military benefits for flights and discounts, plus Space-A for free flights. Our passion for exploring keeps us on the move, finding ways to make the most of every journey!

How do the girls do school while you're traveling? 📚

We homeschool, embracing flexible learning on the go. It's an adventure! We use diverse resources and platforms, ensuring their education aligns with our explorations. We go more into depth on worldschooling here.

We prioritize comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical needs worldwide. Additionally, we research medical facilities in the areas we visit, ensuring we're prepared for any unexpected situations.

Our travel plans are a mix of careful planning and spur-of-the-moment decisions. We consider factors like seasons, safety, budget, and our audience's interests. Sometimes, it's as simple as following our wanderlust and embracing the unknown!

Our camera bag is packed with a Fujifilm HX2 & our GoPro 10 for those underwater shots. We're also using our iPhones 15 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max for "day to day" life.
