Perelel sent me all of this for free. Now you know before you read a single opinion of mine.
Stuff shows up at my door constantly. I review the things I love and the things I don’t, because honestly, a review where somebody loves every single thing is not that helpful. Perelel had been all over my feed for months, so when their LookBook came through I was genuinely excited.
I picked the Women’s Daily Vitamin Trio, and they threw in the Synbiotic Greens. I’m not pregnant, so the prenatal packs, the conception pack, and the trimester bundles are not part of this. If that’s what you came looking for, I don’t have it for you.
The packaging is beautiful. Crinkle paper, clean cream and white branding, the whole thing feels considered. There was a note inside from the cofounders thanking me for trusting them with my well being and pointing out that the products are doctor formulated, research backed, and third party tested.
It looks handwritten. I am fairly sure it is a handwriting service, because most brands at this size use one. That does not bother me, and I would rather say it out loud than pretend I got a personal letter.
Here is my first honest surprise. I did not realize the Trio was three separate products until I opened it.
Each daily sachet holds three things:
Nothing on that list is surprising. What the box says it is, it is. If you have taken a women’s daily before, you already know roughly what you are getting.
I did not expect the format to be the thing I liked most, but it is. Every day comes pre-sorted in its own little pack. No pill organizer, no sorting, no shaking three bottles into a bag.
For a family that travels the way we do, this changes things. Going somewhere for five days, you grab five packs. Two weeks, you grab fourteen. They lie flat in a toiletry bag and take up almost no room. I am keeping these in my travel bag going forward, and that is a real endorsement from someone who has packed a lot of supplements badly.
This is a real question people are searching, so let me answer it directly. When you open the sachet, the vitamins smell strongly medicinal. Not rotten, not spoiled, just very much like medicine.
For comparison, I am currently taking Ritual, and the birch cap in that bottle means you actually smell mint when you open it. Perelel has nothing like that. If you are sensitive to smells, or if you are someone whose stomach turns easily, this is the thing to know before you subscribe.
Is it a dealbreaker? For me, no. I swallow them and move on. But nobody mentioned it in any review I read beforehand, and I would have liked to know.
Quick note on spelling. Perelel calls it Synbiotic Greens, not Symbiotic. Half the internet types it the other way, myself included, so if you have been searching and getting nowhere, that is why.
I was not optimistic. The powder is very dark and very green, and it smells exactly like you expect a greens powder to smell, earthy and planty. I braced myself.
The label says 6 to 8 fluid ounces. I used the minimum, 6 ounces of water in my Ninja bottle, one scoop, and shook it for a few seconds. No blender needed, which matters if you are making this on a counter in a rental somewhere.
It is not awful. That sounds like faint praise, but for a greens powder it is not.
It is lightly sweet without that chemical stevia aftertaste I cannot stand. The texture is silky. It drinks more blue green than the color in the tub would suggest. You still know you are drinking a greens powder, but it is not something I had to force down.
The one issue is grit. If you stop shaking it, everything settles, and the last few sips are noticeably gritty. You can see the sediment in the cup, including what look like broken up raspberry seeds. Keep swirling it and this mostly goes away.
I drink Taste Salud too, and it is still the best tasting greens I have had. Perelel is close behind, but they feel like different products. Perelel feels heavier and more substantial, like it is doing more. Taste Salud goes down easier.
I split one serving into four cups so everyone could try it. Two out of four liked it, which is a more honest result than most reviews will give you.
The blend is genuinely dense. Chlorella and spirulina, organic spinach, kale, and broccoli powders, acai and lemon fruit powders, a fruit blend built on grape seed extract with raspberry, prune, cranberry, tart cherry, strawberry, blueberry, and bilberry, plus organic apple. It carries a prebiotic and a probiotic strain at 5 billion CFU.
For 15 calories, zero added sugar, 2 grams of fiber, 3 grams of carbs, and 1 gram of protein, that is a lot in one scoop. You cannot taste the probiotic at all, which was my main worry going in. Nothing about it tastes yogurty.
Two things worth saying plainly.
There is no kids line that I could find. Perelel vitamins cover women across life stages, from conception through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and general daily use. If you are shopping for your kids, this is not your brand. My oldest likes Grüns and my youngest does better with the kid specific options out there.
The greens will not work for every palate. Half my family said no. If you have a picky drinker in your house, plan on hiding it in a smoothie rather than mixing it in water.
For me, the greens are the stronger product and the one I will keep drinking. I am doing a full month on both the greens and the Trio to see whether I actually notice anything, and I will update this post when I do.
The Trio is a good product with one real annoyance. The travel format is excellent. The smell is not.
What I will not do is tell you it changed my life after four days, because it has not, and anyone who says that about a multivitamin they got for free is selling you something.

ShopMy is the platform brands use to send products to creators and to build shoppable links. It is how I got these products gifted to me. What makes this nice is that I get to try products I may have not known about and try them without obligation to post anything on the products sent to me. All opinions are mine, including the ones they probably would not have chosen.
No. I am not pregnant and did not test the prenatal, conception, or trimester specific packs. This review covers the Women’s Daily Vitamin Trio and the Synbiotic Greens only.
If you’re wondering why does perelel smell so bad, the daily vitamins have a strong medicinal smell when you open the sachet. There is no added scent masking the way some brands use a mint cap (Ritual is amazing at masking the smell if that’s something you need). The smell for the Perelel Vitamins fades once you take them, but it is noticeable every time.
Perelel states the Synbiotic Greens are formulated to pair with an existing multivitamin routine. As with anything you add to your routine, run it by your own doctor first, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or on medication.
No added sugar. One scoop is 15 calories with 2 grams of fiber, 3 grams total carbohydrate, and 1 gram of protein.
Depends who you ask. Two of the four people in my house liked it, two did not. It is lightly sweet and silky rather than earthy, but it gets gritty at the bottom of the cup if you stop shaking it.
Not that I could find. The line is built around women’s life stages. Try Grüns, Hiya and Taste Salud options for kids. Our daughters loves a combo of these.
