Why I Picked These

Clevr sent a lookbook through ShopMy so I could pick my flavors. We’re on a strawberry matcha kick right now, so that one was an easy yes. I like chai too, so I figured it’d be a good one to try. It’s one of the nicer PR boxes I’ve gotten. The frother was a real upgrade, and I handed my old Amazon one to my college daughter the day this arrived.

Clevr Iced Strawberry Matcha SuperLatte

It tastes like a strawberry matcha, which is exactly what I wanted. No aftertaste. The oat milk is barely noticeable in this one. I like it the way it is, straight from the bag. When I want to make it more fun I add fresh strawberries and a little cream, but you don’t have to. It’s good on its own. I’m treating it like a treat and trying to make the bag last.

Clevr Chai SuperLatte

This one leans more spice than creamy, which is different from how I usually drink chai. It’s not crazy different, and it’s nice in its own way. I can taste the oat milk more here than in the matcha. On its own it’s still very good, and like the matcha it’s instant and easy, which is the part that’s winning me over.

Clevr Latte Frother and Golden Scoop

The frother is silver, branded and very robust. It replaced the one I’d been using. The gold scoop is the serving measure, and it’s branded too.

What I’m Watching For

Clevr lists benefits on the bag, and I can’t tell you yet whether I feel any of them. I’m drinking these here and there between the other drinks I’m working through. I’ll also keep tasting the chai to see if the spice level grows on me.

I like both of them so far, and I’ll probably order from Clevr again once I finish these two bags. Sleeptime, Pumpkin Spice and London Fog are next on my list. I’ll update this post with a full review after I’ve used them longer.
