The Edit: Blenders Eyewear is a polarized sunglasses brand founded by Chase Fisher in Pacific Beach, San Diego, where he sold shades out of his backpack between surf lessons and named the brand after nearby Hornblend Street. Its flagship store is on Cass Street in Pacific Beach. This PR gifting through ShopMy included three pairs. The Blenders Jade in Retro Red is a women’s cat eye frame handcrafted from gloss red acetate with polarized PureBlend smoke gradient lenses. The Blenders Onyx in Black Quartz has a deep black crystal frame with gradient polarized PureBlend lenses. And the Blenders Phoenix in Matte Champagne is a unisex Navigator style frame in a matte champagne finish with polarized PureBlend champagne mirror lenses. All three are a small to medium fit with 100% UV protection. PureBlend is the brand’s most premium lens, made for scratch resistance and clarity. Blenders sunglasses are sold at blenderseyewear.com, with free US shipping, free 45 day returns and a one year limited warranty.

Blenders Eyewear gifted these through ShopMy. All thoughts and first impressions are my own.
Blenders was one of our very first giftings on ShopMy. We’ve known this brand way longer than that, though. I bought a pair from them a couple of years before, and Alex was gifted a pair at a wedding back in 2017.
So it was really cool when they reached out. They had us pick a few pieces, and we went with three very different looks.
Here’s why I like them. They’re polarized, and they don’t cost as much as a lot of brands. That means you can grab a few different fun vibes and not worry about losing a pair. I even bought a couple for our boat, just in case one goes over the side.
The Jade in Retro Red is what Addison is wearing in the photo above. We took them to Bora Bora with us, and that bold red cat eye was made for it.
The Onyx in Black Quartz is the pair I’ve been wearing. So far, so good.
The Phoenix in Matte Champagne was our third pick. It’s the mirrored Navigator style of the bunch.
Honestly, the Phoenix Matte Champagne just wasn’t for me. The Jade and the Onyx are the two getting worn, and I’ll keep you posted on how they hold up.
I’ll update this post with a full review once we’ve put more time into all three.
