| What I love so far | The eyeliners, especially Amethyst and Deep Cocoa, the blush color, and how the lip lacquer stays put without transferring |
| My concern | The lip lacquer has a slightly sticky, fluffy texture that takes getting used to, and the foundation goes on a little dry on my dry skin |
| Where to buy | Haus Labs direct, Sephora, or the foundation on Amazon |
Haus Labs gifted these through ShopMy. All thoughts and first impressions are my own.
I was so excited to get Haus Labs. It’s Lady Gaga’s brand, so it’s a celebrity brand, and they’ve sent me three lookbooks now on ShopMy. One was a restock, one was their bestsellers, and the latest was the eyeliner launch. So this post covers all of it.
The Triclone Skin Tech Foundation goes on my face a little dry. To be fair, I’m dry to begin with, so that one is hard to judge. Even so, it’s a beautiful color and it stays on. I do like it. I think the issue is my skin, and I’ve been working on that.
If you’d rather shop it at Sephora or on Amazon, both carry it.
With the Triclone Skin Tech Concealer, I think the shade I picked is a little light. I probably should have gone a bit darker. Overall, though, it applies nicely and goes on well.
I really wanted the Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer in Sheer Petal to work for me, and it didn’t. But it works on Addison’s complexion, and it looks absolutely beautiful on her. It’s a really pretty color.
Here’s what to know about it. Sheer Petal is a no transfer formula, so it stays on your lips. It reminds me of another brand I tried years ago that burned going on, which I hated. This one is a lot like that, minus the burn. Then it’s fluffy and moisturizing, kind of hard to explain. It’s slightly sticky, but not crazy sticky. It was growing on me because the color stays and it feels moisturizing. Still, it is a little weird at first. You get used to it because the color stays and it doesn’t transfer. If you’re more into glosses, you’d want to be aware of that going in.
The Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm Stick in Glassy Clove reminds me of that viral Zendaya video, the one with the wings and the white dress. That color goes on really, really pretty.
The Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter in Peach Quartz is a light shimmer. Some highlighters are more robust and noticeable. This one is more sheer.
The brand says the Optic Intensity Gel Eyeliner is waterproof and waterline safe. They sent all five shades, and I really like them. Amethyst Matte surprised me. It’s really pretty, and so is Deep Cocoa Matte. Honestly they’re all really pretty, so I have no complaints there. I’ll do a swatch later.
They also sent two brushes, the big Foundation Brush and the smaller Concealer Brush. They’re brushes. There’s nothing especially unusual about them, but they do the job.
I’m still testing all of it. I don’t wear makeup as much as I probably could, but I do reach for all of these now. The two things I’m watching are whether the lip lacquer texture keeps growing on me, and how the foundation wears as I work on my dry skin.
Overall, I really like this brand, and the products are pretty. I have no real complaints. I’ll update this post with a full review once I’ve worn everything longer.
