Our Japan adventure kicked off with a little bit of chaos and a lot of excitement! Since we traveled here free using Space-A flights we didn’t have a set itinerary for our first day. Just a mission to find cherry blossoms during Sakura Season. Unfortunately, Tokyo’s blooms weren’t quite out yet, but thanks to a tip from another creator, we found a few hidden spots to admire the early blossoms.
Along the way, we stumbled into an incredible local bakery that instantly became a favorite for the kids. And because we couldn’t get into the Pokemon cafe, we took it easy and had dinner at our hotel—sometimes, that’s just how travel days go!
Top tips from today:
✅ If you have an iPhone, use Apple Maps to navigate Tokyo’s rail system (trust me, it’s way easier!)
✅ Skip the ticket machines—add a Suica pass directly to your Apple Wallet for quick and easy travel.
✅ Starbucks Japan has seasonal drinks that are so worth trying (yes, even if people judge you for going to Starbucks in Japan 😂).
Next up: more exploring, more eats, and figuring out how to get last-minute reservations at some of Tokyo’s most popular spots!
