The Edit: SEEN is dermatologist designed hair care founded by Dr. Iris Rubin, a Harvard trained dermatologist, and the brand builds its formulas around the connection between hair products and skin. This PR gifting is the SEEN Essential Bundle: the SEEN Shampoo and the SEEN Conditioner, each 8.6 fl oz (254 ml). SEEN says both are formulated without sulfates, silicones, phthalates, parabens and dyes, and are vegan, cruelty free, gluten free and color safe. The two hero ingredients are bisabolol and hemisqualane, a plant sugar derived alternative to silicone. The shampoo is sulfate free but still lathers, and the conditioner is lightweight and made for normal or oily hair. Both come in a scented and a fragrance free version. You can buy SEEN direct at helloseen.com or on Amazon.

| What I love so far | It seems nice, and it was cool to learn about a brand I didn’t know |
| My concern | After two washes I can’t tell yet what benefit it will or won’t have |
| Where to buy | helloseen.com or Amazon |
SEEN gifted these through ShopMy. All thoughts and first impressions are my own.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t know about this brand before this box showed up. So it’s been kind of cool to learn a little bit about them. SEEN actually sent this PR to both me and Addison. Her set went to California and mine came here to Hawaii, so we’re both trying it at the same time.
The SEEN Shampoo smells okay. Nothing that jumps out, nothing that bothers me. I’ve used it twice so far, and my first impression is that it seems nice. Addison has gone through most of her bottle already, so she’s further along than I am.
The SEEN Conditioner is the second half of the bundle. Same story here, two uses in and it feels nice. SEEN says to leave it on for two to three minutes before rinsing, so that’s what I’ve been doing.
Two washes isn’t enough to call it. I honestly don’t know yet what benefit this is going to have or not have, and I think I need to go through the whole bottle before I can say. That’s the plan. Addison is almost there, so her take will come in first.
I’ll update this post with a full review once I finish my bottle.
